About Persephone Copywriting
As an internet entity, Persephone Copywriting is
relatively new (Established in August of 2006).
However, before you click the back button and go elsewhere in search of
a company with at least a little bit of experience, please be kind enough
to read the following paragraph.
Copywriting backed by years of experience
Although this web site has only been active for a short time, our copywriters
have been (and still are) operating as an essential part of IceGiant Web
Services since 1999.
Still reading? Excellent!
In fact, the reason behind launching this site is actually more for search
engine promotion purposes than any real need for a separate company.
If you take a look at the IceGiant web
site, you will see that things are getting rather crowded on the navigation
front.
This will become especially apparent once the new
‘HTML Templates for Sale’ section is complete and fully
integrated.
Consequently, it was either a case of launching a totally separate copywriting
web site or redesigning IceGiant from the ground up; a job which our web
design team did not relish, since Icegiant is doing rather well for itself
in the major search engines and messing with it could possibly have disasterous
consequences.
Hey Presto... Persephone Copywriting. |

Not the usual 'About Us' blurb
Those of you who have read our Copywriter
Tips may have noticed that we have
slightly bent (if not shattered) tip number two "Don't overcook
your point".
This is because there is another school of thought on the subject of copywriting;
'Entertain your readers'.
In an age where the internet is rapidly becoming the main global
business arena, many copywriters are devoting their time to the creation
of commercial and utterly sterile descriptions full of meaningless superlatives:
"Product A presents your company with a fantastic, fully integrated
and comprehensively tested solution to your waste management needs."
Hmmm... What are the alternatives then?
Fantastic? So it would be utterly useless otherwise?
Fully integrated? The alternative would be a fragmented product
relying on external factors and manufacturer controlled modules? Hardly
a good selling point.
Comprehensively tested? We should jolly well hope so... The fact is that your clients are getting wise to such marketing
jargon; they are becoming immune to it.
There is another way; and it works surprisingly well.
